Where Do I Go and Where Am I?

Five Cities and Five States
This subject comes from a book I am reading by Tom Ruddell, 11 Words for Winning Finding Certain Success In An Uncertain WorldThe book was a recommended reading this month from my business mentor Lennon Ledbetter.  Many people don't know where they are on life's highway nor really know exactly where they are going for sure.  The way Tom Ruddell explains things in his book really made a lot of sense to me.  I am sharing it with you, so maybe you could benefit to think on finding where you are at right now and help find where you are going with your life.  Okay, here are the Five Cities:
1. City of Joy - The State of Grace: Self-actualization, spiritual fulfillment,
  attitude of gratitude.
2. Fat City - The State of Affluence: Material comfort or success, ego satisfaction/status, conventional happiness.
3. Malasia - The State of Mediocrity: Moving in circles, going nowhere, endurable pain, complain, then watch TV.
4. Purgatoria - The State of Anxiety: Ongoing change/upheaval, hope/striving for something better, pain and/or unhappiness for now.
5. Hades Gulch - The State of Despair: Misery, little or no hope, the ultimate rut.

It is explained that the road leads to each city and through each state.  I really liked how Mr. Ruddell explains the process we move from one city to the next.  Purgatoria is temporary and unfortunately circumstances (i.e. divorce, loss of income, ill health, death, etc.) can move us from one city for instance, Fat City, all the way down to Hades Gulch.  Some people see it as the end of the road for them and settle there and don't know how to get out of it.  Others know the set-back is only temporary and decide they will do whatever it takes to get back on their feet and move up to Purgatoria.  In Purgatoria we struggle and only get by from paycheck-to-paycheck and work several jobs to make ends meet.  Some people settle here and are miserable and others are making plans and taking action to move up in life.  For a vast majority people will end up in Malasia, because they feel comfortable.  I have summed up this topic from the book; however, I would encourage anyone to read it to get the full context of the subject mater.

Personally, I have spent most of my life in the lesser three cities.  My sights are on the City of Joy!  I know some day soon I will get there and every day I work on ME to be prepared for the journey to "The City of Grace".  If making it to that city isn't meant for me here on Earth it will be for sure in Heaven!  Today I woke up blessed to see another day and make the best of it with family and friends and take action towards my personal goals.

What City are you visiting and where are you headed?  May your life be blessed today!  Thanks for visiting my blog and hope we can share this life journey together to get where we all want to be on this highway.  Please let me know your thoughts on this post.  If you are at a fork in the road you are not alone and things can get better!

Sincerely,

Foy

Ideas Market Results

Frustration with a dream: Many times we have great ideas, but get so frustrated in trying to come up with a plan of action to get the results we want.  Today it seems everyone has advice to give on how to get where we need to go in life to find security in today's economy.  Sadly most of that advice will only sustain for awhile and then keep us where we are - broke and in more debt than where we already were in the beginning. When faced with a dilemma what do most people do?  They do one of two things get more determined or quit.  Unfortunately most want the easy road - to get more on less and do what everyone else seems to be doing.  What is the majority doing?  Just getting by paycheck-to-paycheck.  The happy people are the ones who have a desire for change and don't like the norm.  The happy people are the ones who the majority want to be like.  What is so different?  The happy people have an IDEA they TAKE ACTION and then enjoy the CHANGE they have made in life!

What does this have to do with FRUSTRATION?  I had an IDEA to get out of debt for my family and help others to do the same.  I took action to study what would be the best method to reach my personal goal.  Took a few years and I found it!  Always heard, "If it sounds too good to be true - it probably is and watch out for scams."  Well, I sought out the best people I could find to help me look for a vehicle to make my dream a reality.  Then I found it!  Wow - yippy - awesome!

Now how do I contact people and share what I have found? Make phone calls and contact my friends and family!  Yeah...great they don't think like me...they think I am nuts or say, "you go make it happen and we will think about it. " Okay, I can go on Facebook and post something there to get attention to my business!  I can start a blog to make more contacts with people!  Alrighty-then!!

Right now I have gotten a good idea of what Jesus went through trying to save mankind.  Wait, what I have found was an answer to a prayer!  I am working with Christian people who are making a difference.  Yep there's the Dream the Struggle and the Victory!  This struggle part really stinks!

Reality Check: It is me....I have been so focused on the struggle and not on drawing winners in and have gotten what I was desiring...the frustration in the struggle!  I am reading: Think and Grow Rich, and then my mentor suggested I read this book.  I was excited to be doing something already that he would encourage me to start doing.

I know...I know, this blog is a little long....seems like I have the gift of gab here!  Well, now you get a better sense that I am not some monotone technical kind of guy!  I am normal and have something so exciting to share....the best part is I am a leader and doing something different is exciting!  Who I am working with is exciting!  I love the idea: "If you help enough people get what they want, you will also get what you want." I don't remember where this quote came from...it is awesome!  I want to help people get what they want in life and gain a larger audience!  I have already reached a few people and making a difference for them.

I have seen the worst life has to offer. Yes,  some of you probably have seen worse than I have of what life has to offer.  I am about to retire in three year from my previous job.  In those soon to be 21 years, I have personally, saved lives and one being my daughter's. Witnessed death first-hand to include mass graves.  In 1994, I watched children starving and fight over a package of M&M's.  I witnessed two countries currency go to nothing and be thrown into the streets.  I have seen our own countrymen and women be blown to pieces before my own eyes.  My own family members and friends killed by terrorism here in America.  I held a two month old baby, who was smothered to death by her mother because her drug addiction was more important and didn't want responsibility to raise a child.  I lost a business due to a business partner, who was also a missionary, because of Meth.  He lost everything to include his family.  Personally, I have survived several terrorist attacks and have often wondered why God spared my life.  I worked in the jail system and saw the worst of society from drug dealers, to child molesters, gang members, white supremacist, and mafia assassins.  The world is sad and full of bad news, but we fight on to live a better and fulfilling life.  Reality Check: Life is too short to live in the doom and gloom.  Get excited that you are alive and do something wonderful with it for you and your family!

I want to make a difference in this life for you! I am only one person, who can help change this world one person at a time.  This world is not about me and it would be great to know I did my best to help make it a better place.  I know how to help a lot of people be successful, and frustrated that people seem to be so confused on what direction to go with their lives.  If you get anything from me it is this: YOU ARE A WINNER !!!  YOU CAN TAKE AN IDEA HERE, PUT ACTION TO IT AND LIVE A BETTER AND CHANGED LIFE!  The choice is yours...God bless!

One of those DAYS

Ever have one of those days...you know, You've all been there, done that, so no need explaining. Guess there isn't much I could say to top anyone's story today, as I'm sure y'all are picking up what I'm putting down...Who doesn't have their own trials and tribulations!

Well, in regards to the wife, whom I adore immensely, There are days (very few) where you may come into our home and she may be looking like this
Now ok, maybe not this extreme...
((she will think this is funny by the way...but we will keep this hush, hush for now))

Most of the days she looks and acts like an angel sent straight from the good Lord...

So by now, you are probably wondering why the "scream"...Well, that is easy to explain. I'm sure most of you guys will agree, you know YOU did something if you get to this point. Her reasoning is not feeling well and a bit over whelmed...Aren't we all right?

So when do you get this reaction? Well I can tell you I have seen many men looking at their retirement checks (chump change) with the same expressions...Oh, I do not gender discriminate...and neither does our Government! In fact, they don't discriminate much when it comes to the "good Ol' Boy Club". You see that all the time....Just rubs your chaps doesn't it? I'm seeing the smoke from your ears at just the thought...Boy have I got some ways to "show" then whose BOSS...and that's YOU! I would say, it is a good feeling being financially rewarded for my hard work and efforts...Oh...I bet you thought I was gonna give ya a "Get Rich Quick" song and dance...Sorry to disappoint.

I'll tell ya what you can do...Get back with me through email here and I will privately call you. I just ask you add some good times as we know how schedules are...

Now, fast forward, when I'm buying...I mean YOU are buying your wife her dream Camero car. On vacation, getting new furniture...Things you will get anyway...But by calling me, I will show you how to do it with CASH. Nope, no personal loans, no car notes, no buy here pay here...And ABSOLUTELY no Cash Advances.

You know you might like this :D

Thanks for stopping by my blog! Give a shout back with what your thoughts are...in any area...I'm open :D

Trying To Choose A Network Marketing Company?

Thousands of Companies and Tons of Advisers
Wow!  There are a lot of choices out there and so many people who coaching you to build your business.  When I discovered that Network Marketing was the business of the 21st Century and made sense to move from the Employee Quadrant to the Business Quadrant, from Robert Kiyosaki's books and Donald Trump books.  I was overwhelmed with making the decision on where to put my money and time and energy and my reputation.  What the heck?  I spent three years thinking about what I would do for the next 20 years of my life.  I could start my own business, but what kind of business?  I could do a service or product type and they all had their up-side and down-side.  I didn't have money to throw away, besides it would be nice to have dressers in my house.  My time was precious to spend on work and with family.  What makes me different from anyone else?  Nothing absolutely nothing except one thing I had discovered.  Desire!  Yes, desire to choose my dream and taking action to get it

I needed to get through the jungle and find my compass.
Well, it took me six months to find what I was looking for and let me tell you it came with prayer.  If I hadn't found direction and my business in time my wife's patience was getting very thin from hearing..."Hey babe,  what do you think about this idea?"

She was already past the rolling eyes to the glaring stare and saying, "I am going to bed, so make up your mind I don't want to hear it anymore - just make a decision."

Guy's you know that when your woman has had enough the shed is coming.  It was winter and that was not an option for me.  Fortunately, my wife helped me with her womanly intuition of what to look at, as I was about to spend $2,500 to start with a company that to me made sense.  I opted to listen to her and a friend on Facebook who introduced me to his friend and explained how I should evaluate network marketing companies.  I asked them what business they were in and they said, "it really doesn't matter right now.  We want you to know how to find a business, how to evaluate them and make a decision on what interests you.  The choice is yours and we can help you evaluate what company will make a win-win for you."  What did this advice cost me?  My time!  Shoot yeah, in a couple of days I was surrounded by so many successful leaders teaching me what I really needed to know to succeed.  The rest is history from there!  I found my compass.  The key to your success is this: YOU!  Okay, one more thing to add: Your Dream!  Sorry one more thing: Your Commitment.

What do I get from helping you?  I get my dream.  What is my dream? Helping YOU succeed! I make a new friend in YOU!  It is frustrating trying to find a network marketing company and having so many coaches telling you so many different and similar things.  Who do you listen to when it comes to your investment?  Listen to those who are invested in YOU!  Gotta love, "if you want to know the secret or benefit from us we have a special offer tonight: This information would normally cost you $399, but we will give it for $97 if you sign up for this training right now or in next 48 hours."  Watch out!  My cost: Time with you personally, on the phone for F-R-E-E!! No automated service here!

What is your struggle on choosing a Network Marketing Company?

Please share!  I am interested in your comments and this helps me to provide valuable content to you.

Sincerely,

Foy

Don't Have Time

Photo from Google Images.com
Busy, Busy, Busy!
One of the most common statements heard today is: I don't have time!  Odd how everyone wakes up with the same amount of time in the day and some accomplish more or less than others in the same 24 hour day.  What is the difference in how we spend our time?  It comes down to commitments, responsibilities, life, and mainly choices.  One thing I want to focus on is time with family.  You can lose a lot in this world, but the most valuable asset loss that comes with a price is time with family.  Losing family time is something that cannot be recouped.  Once it is gone it is gone.

Bureau of Labor Statistics 2010 Report:  Found this information to be interesting as it was released June 2011.  Thought I would share  some information on where we spend most of our time on average in the US.  You can look the information up for yourself at: www.bls.gov.  The report broke down in what an average person (15 years and older)  does in a week day and on weekends & holidays.  Just in case you have ever asked, " Where did all my time go?"  I rounded up to the nearest hour.

Personal Care: (Scrub a-dub-dub, primping for work or event)  Day: 9 hrs. Wknd/H: 10 hrs.
Sleeping: Wk Day: 8 hrs. Wknd/H: 9 hrs.
Household Activities: (Food prep and clean up, lawn and garden) Day: 2 hrs. Wknd/H: 3 hrs.
Eating and Drinking: Day: 1 hr. Wknd/H: 1 hr.
Shopping:  Day: 2 hrs. Wknd/H: 2 hrs.
Children: (Tending to their needs) Day: 2 hrs. Wknd/H: 2 hrs.
Working: Day: 8 hrs. Wknd/H: 6 hrs.
Education: Day: 6 hrs. Wknd/H: 3 hrs.
Organizational Activities: (Civic & Religious) Day: 2 hrs. Wknd/H: 3 hrs.
Leisure & Sports: Day: 5 hrs. Wknd/H: 7 hrs.
Watching TV:  (Calculated into Leisure & Sports made most of avg.) Day: 3 hrs. Wknd/H: 4 hrs.
Other Activities: ( Who knows what - sex, drugs, exercise, gossiping) Day: 2 hrs. Wknd/H: 2 hrs.

After going almost cross-eyed looking at  the BLS 2010 report I realized there was nothing listed on hours for the lame and lazy.

Finding Time:
How sad when a child says, " Can you play with me?"  Then another day have a child knock on your door and ask to play with your dog. It is sad to have a five year old child say: "Hi, can I tell you about my day?  I have no-one to talk to and I like it at your house."  What is discovered the child has both parents at home and they are too busy with watching TV after working.  Okay and then to learn 1in 4 children in America is fed on food stamps.  Then 24 million Americans are unemployed today.  What the heck?  People have time to draw unemployment and not spend time with their kids.  Then kids are given TV and video games as a babysitter.  What are these kids being taught?  Now this is the grim side of modern society.  Let's look at the flip-side where people are working hard with two to three jobs to make ends meet. In some cases both parents are working.  Where is the time spent with kids? Let's see: two hours a week day and two hours each day on the weekend on average.

What Can Be Done?
I offer one option that 40,000 people in the world are doing each week.  They are becoming entrepreneurs in a network marketing company.  I won't bore you anymore with statistics; however, majority of those working and spending time with their family are those in network marketing.  You can make the time to be free to spend time with your loved ones, by working a job and then part-time with your own business.  Treating your home business as a real business it will grow and you will be able to supplement your annual income.  Then you could spend more time educating and being involved with your children.  It boils down to making a choice...the choice is yours.  If nothing else, make time as a parent to spent time with your family and be there for your children.   You can always substitute three hours a day of TV for family!

Financial Ark

Warning For Preparation
Reflecting back on history is a good guide post for looking at modern economic events.  What is happening?  Where are we going with our economy?  So often people ask these questions and they are even heard in the news.  How often are questions asked about these concerns and little do we listen to the answers.  Even more importantly is where are we getting our answers from.  Then what actions are being taken?  What are we doing to prepare for the financial wave that is destined to hit America and the world economy?  The warning signs are there before us; however, people are playing it safe.  Let's take a quick look at history.

The Great Flood
Noah warned of the coming flood and people mocked him.  Noah spent months preparing and building an Ark.  People didn't want to break from their comfort zones, or follow his lead thinking this bearded old guy is nuts.  He is trying to scare us to get on board his big boat and not certain it would float.  There's no water around for that boat and who is he to make a boat?  That's not his profession, so what does he know about sailing a boat and being a builder of something that hasn't been tested?  Some people took his concerns and built homes on higher ground.  There that should do it, no longer in a flood zone, got higher and made a house of stronger timber and stone.  Great idea!  Well, we know what happened when the floods came and the sad story of all who didn't get on the boat.  The flood lasted for months, no one could swim that long on their own and what would they have to eat?  Unfortunately, they perished and was swallowed up by the Big Fish.

More Modern Times
What happened in 301 AD?  It was the fall of the Roman Empire.  Great wealth, strongest country of its time, and the greatest military of its time too.  Please study up on the phases of its economic decline and share some of the similarities from then and what we see today.  Do you notice any thing similar?

Now take a look at 1937, The Great Depression.  What similarities do you find from that era and from what we are seeing occur today?  The biggest thing was the reliability on credit and the stock market.  What pulled our country out was the discovery of oil.  Ever since we have been relying and building on cheap oil. We will never run out of oil, just being able to afford cheap oil.

Each of the time periods a war was being financed.  War drains the economy, due to the government having to spend more money.  Taxes increase and who pays for it?  Every hard working man and woman.  Unemployment is another factor in each time period - a rise where the government pays to support food and shelter for the impoverished.  One more thing: 50% of the employed today work for the government.  When the government has to make necessary cuts it will be in jobs, and before that happens payrolls will be cut along with benefits.

This is not to scare you, but to shed some light on the warnings we have before us todayDo you have a financial ark built?  If or should I say, when the dollar drops more in value are you prepared for the financial storm that is facing us? Please look at history and see the warning signs and do something for you, your family, and the next generations.  Get financially educated and listen to people who are successful and want to help you.  Robert Kiyosaki has written a book, The Unfair Advantage and has shared a lot on YouTube about what is to come. Many of my other friends like Ryan and Melissa Taft, Lennon Ledbetter, and Cason Miller know what we can do to prepare for the storm.  These are some wise and financially savvy LEADERS that have so graciously shared their tried and true methods. I am more than willing and excited to pass this valuable financial information on to YOU. We together would love to help you build a financial ark for your family and friends. It's not if you are interested, it's when and what do YOU want to do to be prepared! Don't be afraid to take the next step! TAKE ACTION TODAY by contacting me...I will help you on your path to FINANCIAL FREEDOM!!

Crime of the Mind Matrix

What has our world come to when people think they are only as good as their education, circumstances, and the government is to blame for their problems, and to depend on social services to save them?  I have always believed: God created all men equal, in His image and to not suffer His children, but prosper us. For we are blessed with seeds of Greatness!  Folks, God did not make this world we live in the way it is today - man has made it what it is today.  We must understand we were all born for a purpose and not to be a work slave and have nothing to show for ourselves. We live in the richest country in the world and a country of the free!  That is exciting and a blessing!  Unfortunately, I have noticed people live in captivity of their mind, due to what we are taught in school, and what we are exposed to daily at work and in the news.  It is time to break free of what I call the Mind Matrix.

Many people say, " I can't afford this and I can't afford that, because I don't have the time.  I don't have the money.  I don't have the education.  I am too old to do something different.  This is all I can do right now.  I need a job, I need a degree - that piece of paper that is my ticket to success.  If I could afford it I would be doing this or doing that and I wouldn't be in this mess."  You get the picture.  Reason we make these excuses is for no other reason than by what we were taught growing up.  Robert Kiyosaki points out, "We are taught to go to school, get good grades, work hard, and retire."

America was built on the backs of entrepreneurs, (i.e. farmers, merchants, tradesmen, etc) who had a dream to be free and be self evident.  Today working for the government is the most secure means of having a steady income and a retirement, because it isn't going away.  We have a country to defend and services to provide to our citizens.  We work for the government because we take pride in being a free nation and have a sense of service to keep it that way.  The problem is people look to the government for all of it's answers to solve their problems.  Now look at ourselves in the mirror.  Our circumstances today are not solely the governments - it is our responsibility and we have to take ownership of what we have personally done in order to better ourselves too.

Education is not free anymore.  It has become a business market for our hard earned money.  I have spoken with a Dean of Business at a University and he told me I was right on.  He said, "professors look out for themselves for tenure and not really interested in making sure students have a career in their degree.  Here's the study material, take the test, and make a passing grade.  Good luck with your success!"  How many people have degrees and don't work in their specialized field?  How many people attend college and universities with a huge sum of debt to pay off on top of trying to find a job, and raise a familyThis is one example of legalized crime of the mind matrix.  It is a false hope for most, like paying tons of money to win the lottery.  Congrats on your degree!  Welcome to the real world - uh by the way you owe us and we are here to collect from you.  Your first bill is due on such and such date!  Wow!  You graduated and you are working for $8 to $12.00 an hour, and making no more than a guy without a degree.  That to me folks is wrong.  I am sorry if anyone reading this has been down this road.  You are not alone.  I will say, congratulations on your degree and you have proven you can set goals and achieve them.

Next mind matrix is: Work hard all of your life and retire.  Most companies today don't want to pay you for retirement.  What a legal crime they are doing to people every day.  I witnessed a guy move his family from Illinois to Oklahoma, to be promoted to Vice President of the sub-division in his companyHe had just bought a new house and had his other house on the market to sell.  When the Company HQ decided they were going to let him go, because they needed to cut costs by making draw-backs on personnel.  The guy was 63 years old, and had only two years to retire and had been with the company for 29 years.  The guy pleaded for his job and they had the security guards make sure he didn't enter the building, or have the police called on him for loitering and possibly disturbing the peace.  Now that is wrong and it happens to so many people every day.

How many times do you hear about having a 401K plan, that is the way to take your retirement with you from job-to-job?  When 401K plans first came out they were only good with the company you worked with and if terminated the money either went back to the company, or some companies would let you collect it.  The 401K was a tool designed for companies to not have the full burden of supplying people with a retirement for the rest of their lives.   Then stocks was another investment.  Well, if the company stayed around you had a retirement, but if they went under....sorry for your luck.

The good news is there is a better way of investing your time and money -  by learning to leverage.  You really need to do yourself a favor and become Financially Intelligent.  Many people want to get into real estate.  Spend lots of money to get smart on investing in real estate. Great goal; however, if you don't have the funds it is really bad timing.  I recommend you start a network marketing business.  Something you can do on the side and build up, so you can have the money to invest and have an asset that pays you.  What if you lose your job?  Well, you still have income coming in to cover your bills and putting food on your table.  Then there are tax advantages!  You can always save money in a savings account and draw interest of 2% for the month.  Then how about investing that same money in your own business and get an actual 50% return for the month on every dollar?  Not all companies pay-out the same, so if you don't know what to look for you may be getting 23% when told you are getting up to 50%.  Hey that isn't so bad, at least you are doing something and not in the mind matrix of saving your money!

I have shared some free information that usually costs you money somewhere else.  Thanks for taking time to read this post.  Please be mindful of the Mind Matrix.  It should be seen as a real crime, because it is people like you and I who are paying the price of being in debt up to our eye balls and not getting ahead.  I am breaking free of the matrix.  How about you?  How about being free and being able to say I can afford and God created me and will prosper me?  What a feeling and joy we will share together!  Break free of the matrix and live and be happy!  You are smart and no one should tell you otherwise degree or not you are still educated!

Hope I have made some sense here and really want the best for my fellow brothers and sisters, no matter what your background God has a plan to prosper you.  Take action and take control of your life.  We have one life to live and lets make the best of it!  Contact me and lets make a difference in your life - God bless!

Learning The Ropes

When we start any adventure it can be nerve racking and very scary at first. What we must first discover is trust in God, in ourselves, in our tools or equipment, and in our team. I will illustrate this point through an experience I personally encountered on a cliff in Wyoming.

In 1998, I was instructing a group of Airmen in my squadron on how to rappel from a 65 foot cliff. We were visited by a Chaplain, who came out to visit us on a training mission. The Chaplain was curious about going down the cliff on the rope and wasn't sure he could do it, while witnessing an instructor coaching one Airman down the side of the cliff. I informed the Chaplain, that he wouldn't really understand how much fun he was missing out on until he made an attempt to see if he liked it. He hesitated and was uncertain about going down the cliff. I took the opportunity to share with him how the equipment worked and then explained my experience in rappelling. The Chaplain decided to go down knowing I would be next to him and there was another instructor at the bottom, a be-layer, holding on to the end of his rope to help keep him from going splat on the ground below.

As we were hooked in on the rope, I coached the Chaplain over the edge. He was definitely putting the power of prayer into action, as we stood on the side of the cliff horizontal to the ground. All he could see was the top edge of the cliff and a beautiful blue sky in front of him. We began to descend one little step-at-a-time to where he built up confidence to make a small jump to enhance his speed down the cliff and touch back onto the face of the cliff for another little leap. It was at this moment I had ever heard a minister say a holy curse word, followed by asking forgiveness and more prayers. He paid close attention to my instructions and did everything I explained to him and demonstrated. The be-layer even showed the Chaplain how he wouldn't fall, as the be-layer pulled tension on the rope and could hold the Chaplain in-place indefinitely. A couple of minutes later we were on the ground and unhooking from the rope.

Once we were done, the Chaplain was excited and thanked both of us for sharing a new experience with him and taking time to effectively coach him through the process of rappelling. It wasn't much later after coaching another Airman down the cliff I heard a loud, "Woo-hoo", to look up and see the Chaplain making huge leaps from the side of the cliff and coming down full of praise and confidence. Before the day of training was over the Chaplain had made three descents on his own down the cliff. He commented that at the age of 50, he still had a lot to learn and personally over-come. He now had a new life experience and material for a Sunday service.
Take-away:
When we venture out into building a business we must first understand the ropes and how our equipment works to help us descend. The cliff symbolizes our debt, worries, and anything huge in our lives we must overcome.  What better way to succeed when you have a coach and a team of individuals, who know what it takes to succeed and are their to help you reach your full potential.  The biggest issue most people have to conquer is self-doubt.  They need to trust in themselves first and take the next step to trust in their coach, equipment, training, and in their team.  Can you see yourself taking the leap with people who believe in you and want to you succeed?  If you think, "there is no way this will work for me" and never try you are already defeated.  Be a winner and remember this quote: "You can if you think you can" - Norman Vincent Peale.

Please contact me if you are ready to learn the ropes.  I will be with you every step of the way.  Our team is ready for the winner in you.  We look forward to hearing you say, "Whoo-hoo," as you are taking leaps off your cliff and reaching your goals of success! God bless - On Rappel!

Please send me an email at: myxangocox@gmail.com, or call me (765) 210-3588, if you are ready to reach your personal goals and like to have more information.

Positioned For Success

What does it mean to be positioned for success?  It means taking action to achieve your dream and taking necessary steps to get there.  This has been a life long learning experience for me of setting goals, coming up with a plan of action, facing the struggle, and being persistent to win!

Life by no means has been a bed of roses for me.  I know what it is like to be broke, to support a family of eight with a car not running, the second vehicle repossessed,  no TV, a mountain of bills, PB&J for lunch, and being creative with Mac & Cheese for dinner every night.  Can we say, "a living night-mare"? Now if that wasn't enough.  My wife cried out, "Lord give me a break!" She got her break one night with a slip on the stairs in our house and had a completely dislocated foot, on the first week of summer. Now let that be a lesson to watch out on what you pray for - be specific! Through those tough times that lasted for four years, we made it on prayer and swallowing a lot of humble pie.  It was in those days I really had to sit down and think how we got in this situation and come up with a new game plan.

I reflected on the basics of my childhood. I wanted to attend the Air Force Academy and become a doctor.  Why did I have that dream?  Growing up we are taught occupations to be a doctor is very lucrative and meets a need in society to help people.  The military will always be around and offers a lot for young people getting out on their own and provides a great platform to build a future on.  Well there,  I had a great dream and as a kid I could work hard in school and in my community to get accepted into the Air Force Academy. The military would pay for my education to become a doctor.  My parents couldn't afford to send me to school and I had to make my own way.

Next came the process of getting accepted to the Air Force Academy.  I was 12 years old, and had six years, to make myself stand out from the competition.  I discovered that becoming an Eagle Scout would be a great asset to achieve and if I didn't get accepted, I could qualify for an Eagle Scout full-ride scholarship as a back up plan.  Only three percent, of Boy Scouts become Eagle Scouts, so positioning was crucial to be successful in meeting my goals.  My dad and I searched around in my hometown, for a good scout troop and and found one out of a seven available troops that had the highest turn out of Eagle Scouts.  It was a troop on the rich side of town with kids I wouldn't go to school with until high school.  I joined and the month after my 15th birthday, I had achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.  This marked the first greatest achievement in my life! What was the reason for my success?  It was positioning myself on a team where I was surrounded by people with the same goals, and learning from those who had the knowledge and experience to be successful.  In that troop of 50 boys, I graduated high school with 11 of my friends who also became Eagle Scouts.  We helped each other to win!

A junior in high school I challenged the state to be the first 11th grader to attended college and went to Oklahoma State University to become an Emergency Medical Technician.  To become an EMT there was only a 20% pass rate, so I picked the best school in the area for producing EMTs, even though; it was the
hardest.  What the state looked at for accepting me into the University was being an Eagle Scout.  I wanted to attend the Air Force Academy and become a doctor. I figured being an EMT would put me ahead of the competition.  By being positioned in a top school at OSU I passed in top 5% of my class and became a National Registered EMT.

Now let's fast forward to where I am today.  Life happened and I did not attend the Air Force Academy and I never became a doctor. Reason: I let two Air Force Academy Alumni talk me out of my dream.  Lesson here is don't let anyone sell you short on achieving your goals in life. I did join the Air Force and have enjoyed the experience of serving in the Armed Forces.  Retiring from the Air Force will be another great accomplishment with fulfillment of serving on several deployments in my career.

Looking at the state of our economy today and seeing how people are struggling with making ends meet, while savings accounts are depleting, and foreclosures are at an all-time high is devastating.  I have felt like a kid getting ready to graduate high school again and trying to figure out what I am going to do when I grow up. This decision processes had driven my wife up the walls.  I decided to take a look at what successful people were doing and what made them so different.  A three year study led to me to meet some great entrepreneurs who have years of experience in building businesses.

What I discovered was the importance of being positioned for successFirst thing is getting educated.  Do a study of real people in business in the industry.  Pick their brains and read their books. Let their wisdom save you a lot of time and money and get down to the basics.  Answer the question: "What does it take to be successful?"  I recommend reading: the Holy Bible, John C. Maxwell, "21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership", Robert Kiyosaki and Donald Trump, "Why We Want You To Be Rich", Robert Kiyosaki, "Rich Dad Poor Dad" and "Business of the 21st Century", and Napoleon Hill, "Think and Grow Rich".  Get a subscription of Success Magazine and get informed! Position yourself with knowledge and become like-minded with successful entrepreneurs and business people.

The next lesson is key and that is to be positioned with like-minded people.  It was shared with me that we are like 85% of those we associate with daily.  Makes sense!  You know the old saying, "a bird of a feather flock together".  This saying has merit and stands true in whatever walk of life we choose.  Life is a choice.  You can't choose your family, but you can choose your friends.

Finally, I made a decision and took action on it.  I found not one but seven millionaires on one team that wants to see me succeed.  Not only see me succeed, but all who are interested in being successful to find success.  They are very personable, friendly and devoted to giving their time and efforts to help people reach their dreams in life.  They practice the Three Musketeer motto: "All for one and one for all!"  Wow, a team of people that can coach me to be successful and help my business grow!  Not only that they know what it is like to be living from paycheck to paycheck.  They are not only successful in their current business, but have been successful in previous businesses.  Why the change? They saw the opportunity to make make more with less time and money.  They found a fair and honest company with an actual 50% share in the company's profit.  What really touches my soul is they are not afraid to get down on a knee and pray for me.  I speak with them daily and they are real people making a real difference in peoples lives every day.  They don't ask, how far do you want us to jump for you? They ask, how high do you want us to jump with you?

To really succeed you need to be positioned for success with a team.  Surround yourself with the best and settle for nothing less than to be the best.  Throughout my life experience it has always came down to working with a team to reach my own personal success.  Sure you can be successful on your own. Imagine how successful you would be if you leveraged your time and efforts with that of a team dedicated to help you succeed?  Then you may wonder, what does it cost?  It costs you time to decide your dream is worth achieving and making a commitment to achieve it.

Are you positioned for success now and can you see what you are doing right now getting you to your dream in the next five years?  If you answered no to this question then decide if your dream is worth achieving.  If it is worth achieving and you have the desire to make it happen in this lifetime then get with me. Lets be Frank

Lets be frank home business seekers...there are thousands of various companies out there just waiting to tell you what you want to hear... I have been searching for many months for "that one". I've frustrated a few along the way, I'm sure, with interest in the beginning...then do my own research and find that it just doesn't suit me or my family. What do I believe in that I would be willing to take extra time away from my family (in the beginning) and wouldn't be embarrassed or unsure of what I was promoting? Well let me tell you, without sounding like the same ole sales pitch, that I have found it in XANGO. If you are looking for a great product, very reasonable start up costs and more support than you can imagine, you wouldn't think twice about this company as your new chance at financial freedom.

What I would love to do, is tell you about this awesome opportunity to not just have the American dream but LIVE the American dream!  Drop me a note at myxangocox@gmail.com

About XANGO

XANGO was founded on the bedrock of organized originality. On September 11, 2002, six men created an entirely new product category, laying the groundwork for an opportunity that would span the spectrum of wellness. The product was XANGO® Juice. The company is XANGO, LLC.
To XANGO, wellness is a word limitless in its positive implications. We don’t believe it should be restricted to merely the physical or emotional, the mental or the spiritual—we believe wellness should cover even the financial and social aspects of life. In short, anything that concerns you and your family qualifies.
Our desire to provide complete wellness has come from a constant urge to innovate and create. We have no sympathy for the old and ineffective. Our blueprints call for new, useful category creators—groundbreaking brands like Eleviv and Glimpse™ Skin Care. We don’t compete; we create. XANGO leads while others follow.
From the first firm footing of XANGO Juice to our latest category-creating product, every step we have taken has been done so with purpose. Our interlocking two-tiered structure of quality natural products provides unshakable support for our open-ended vision of wellness. We have built from the ground up a framework for the future… your future. Dig deeper and stand taller with XANGO.
Based in Utah, XANGO is privately owned and powered by a global network of over 1,000,000 independent Distributors. XANGO's expansive operations include the U.S. and numerous international markets such as Canada, Mexico, Russia, Germany, Portugal, Malaysia, Spain and many others.
